If you are a government Program Manager or Program Executive Officer, you can use the DoD TechMatch system to efficiently find solutions to challenging technical problems. The DoD TechMatch system allows you to quickly broadcast your technology needs to registered industry, academic, and government users.

Here’s how it works.

1. In a password-protected environment, the Program Manager, the Program Executive Officer (or designated representatives) input their technology need and assign technology keywords.

2. Registered users receive an e-mail that contains the technology need request that you post.

3. Users that have a potential solution to your technology need can submit an on-line response for your review. This submission will contain general company information, a summary of the company’s technical capabilities, their proposed solution, and their assessment of the proposed solution’s Technology Readiness Level (TRL).

4. You will receive a notifying e-mail directing you back to DoD TechMatch where you can view the submission(s) in a password-protected environment. The submission information from all users is catalogued in an intuitive, interactive environment that lets you view, sort, and archive responses. In addition, e-mail connectivity is established with the companies, which allows you interact directly with those who have submitted a solution to your need.
